Mileage Plan 2024: same distance to status, but you'll get there faster. On top of the outstanding benefits Mileage Plan™ members already enjoy, we're adding flexibility and introducing more choice rewards later in the year.
Earning status becomes simpler. In 2024, status will be based on elite-qualifying miles (EQMs) earned through Alaska and our global partners. The number of EQMs you need to reach status stays the same and you'll no longer need to fly a minimum number of Alaska flights.
A head start toward status for 100Ks. For our MVP Gold 100K members, any EQMs earned beyond 100K in 2023 will roll over toward requalifying for status in 2024.**
A faster way to earn status through your Alaska Airlines credit card. Throughout 2024, for every $10,000 you spend on purchases, you'll automatically earn 4,000 EQMs (up to 20,000 EQMs total).*
A refreshed version of the current My Account desktop and mobile experience is coming soon. New features and a streamlined interface will make it easier to track and manage your Mileage Plan benefits.
An easier way to go global. Starting in March 2024, partner award flights will start at 4,500 miles each way, with more than 60% of partner nonstop routes starting at a lower price point, even in Premium cabins.

Please do not share your Mileage Plan number. To ensure account security, we cannot access a member's account without the member present.
