English learners take ACCESS, a state achievement test, each year to measure their progress in learning English. This screen displays the students’ performance on ACCESS tests.Learn More

Students whose primary language is not English receive English language instruction that targets their individual learning needs. Specially-designed curriculum prepares these students to meet college and career readiness standards, and the annual ACCESS test measures their progress toward proficiency in English. The additional displays show how many students at this school participate in the program and the rate at which they reach proficiency and exit the program to merge into regular classrooms. Screens showing the number of students taking the ACCESS tests and the number of long-term English Learners also help track the quality of the English Learner program.
